Für die kleineren Einheiten investiert die Reederei in Methanol-Brennstoffzellen – reinelektrisch versteht sich. Eine moderne Offshore-Flotte steht zudem für Servicedienste im Bereich der Nordsee-Offshore-Windparks bereit.

The AB “EMS” offers a maritime experience with its modern fleet of ferries operating a regular service to the North Sea islands of Borkum, Helgoland and Neuwerk. Every year, the car and passenger ferries powered by liquid gas as well as catamarans carry around 1.3 million passengers and freight of all kinds. Furthermore, state-of-the-art water buses have been built for services in the Wadden Sea operated in partnership to and from the islands of Juist, Spiekeroog and Wangerooge.
The company sets milestones with its innovative projects, always with a focus on innovation, sustainability, quality and safety.
